https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55048990 If we get put into Tier 3. Pubs closed except for takeaways. let’s hope for Tier 2 - pubs open!!
It'll be designated by council.... ERYCC will still be in Tier 3 high infection rate willerby/ Kirkella... Golf courses open from Tuesday!!!!
Interestingly, Liverpools 'quick test' whatever it was called has reduced infection rates by 2/3rds... wasn't this supposed to happen in Hull also..?
cheers. I thought the tiers were assigned at a national level?? what about the Yorkshire wolds villages, do you think we will get grouped as Hull?
Come on Blackpool get out of tier 3 so I can Watch city on my 60th birthday...... Mind you I may need 500 tickets to accommodate all the family and my 1 friend.....
I don't know SW3. If you look at the infection map of Hull, here in Cave we were in a non-infection area (however they classified it) but thats only 5 miles from Willerby. So I was guessing it'll be down to council areas and suggesting thats what they'd likely do. ERYCC stretches as far as Howden and Goole... Actually I just looked ERYCC boundary map... its a massive area...
tbh even tier 2 has more restriction , as in you can only drink at a pub with a meal , tier 3 is takeaway only
There you have it. Another Vaccine appears the very day Boris ‘Allows’ Christmas. Throw the doors open and hope they can vaccinate the old/vulnerable in time seems to be the plan now. It’s a **** plan but one that involves the modicum of thought and work.
ERYC as you say is a massive geographical area, according to latest figures, ERYC has finally gone blue as a whole area was the top figure last week, as Hull CC still is... See map. Link https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map
I mentioned this a few pages back in regards to the pcr tests, in short it means one of the methods of testing pcr or rapid lateral flow are wrong, my money would be on the pcr tests being wrong due to way there being done (40 cycles and not 25 which gives more accurate results ), hopefully lateral flow tests will now start to give a better picture in infected areas instead of the over inflating results at present.
Hopefully, the Oxford vaccine backed by UK Tax Payer and the benefits it seems to have over the other options, cost, storage, transportation etc, means that global purchase might put money back into the coffers...
