It could be working the opposite way. The club want rid, he wont budge so they'll force him to play in the U23.

Doesn anyone really think McGeady will make a difference? Bearing in mind his age now and the fact he hasnt played proper competitive football in months?

Just think we could be asking too much of him tbh.

He's perfect for the last 30 minutes, if we're losing, always better as a sub imo.

Is there any chance that Parkinson could be given the boot before the takeover is complete? With still a number of games to play between now and early December, and the way the table is, I fear that leaving Parkinson in charge until then could leave us too far adrift due to the current style of football and malaise around the club.

We would be better off with even a caretaker manager, and getting rid of him now could give us a chance of picking up some points before the takeover goes through and a new manager is appointed. Any chance of this happening?

Getting Parkinson out will feel like a massive dark cloud has been lifted from the club. Encouraged by the symbolism of him being involved today, another nail in the coffin for dull Phil.

I would be surprised if Jurassic is sacked before the takeover as he still has 16 months left on his contract and I don't think Donald will pay it.

Parkinson being overuled is a decent indicator that the club have no faith in him anymore.

just need to be given the green light to boot him

If the takeover is 2 weeks away from being official I really hope we don't wait till then to give parky the boot

If satori is having a much bigger role in the club he needs to get shot now

Imagine how fuming PP will be today having basically been told McGeady has to start being involved again. After all the comments he has given to the press about him never playing here again etc.

Its the biggest slap in his face you could imagine. It may aswell of been delivered to him on a P45

Just wondering if finances of it can still be handled by the new guys but the actual sacking can happen now. After all, if Juan is supposed to be one of the main men in the new group surely he could just pull the trigger and deal with the compensation or whatever.

Definitely McGeadys inclusion in the under 23s side today points to the beginning of the end for Parkinson,a big slap in the face letting him know he no longer has control.. hopefully won’t be much longer for the takeover and seeing the back of him and his dour style and demeanour.

Only as long as they don't appoint someone along the lines of Howard Wilkinson, that appointment sealed our fate that season, to a season of relegation. If they done anything along these lines all positive momentum would be lost, not that I think this scenario would happen of course.

Apparently Sammy Lee has revealed he is gearing up to get back into management with Sam Allardyce. Got excited that it could be us but reports are that they are heading to Derby.

It just seems too much of a coincidence that even going back 2 seasons, they've bottled every opportunity they've had to get a place in the top two.

They got stung last time by all accounts with Coleman. I think he took it further saying it was planned etc.
