You mean some people disagreed with you, no need to be melodramatic about it.

"A fantastic piece of pressing from in-form striker Mitch Curry saw him catch hold of a loose ball, before bearing down on goal with remarkable pace and firing a low finish into the net via a touch from goalkeeper Oliver Webber – his third in two games."

Oh look - we have an in form pacy striker.
So why the hell are we not putting him in the first team?

He looks the real deal to me this kid, I compared him to Vardy the first time I saw him, against Wolves, so hes got no chance in ousting Wyke and his band of brothers .

Because he isn't a striker. Plenty of players in the squad I think are better players than Wyke but it doesn't mean I'd play them up front. I'd rather see us give Curry a go before anyone else gets the chance and try to develop young un's for the future than rely on the likes of McGeady. He's the past, the youngsters are the ones with a future in the game so we need to be using them first.

When McGeady was getting in the side, he was a problem. There were endless discussions on here about how likes to beat his man twice and how he slows our progression down. Maybe playing him as a 10 might work but I don't see him as the answer. The main priority has to be replacing Wyke. And then Parky trying a different formation. 343 is the only thing Parkinson will ever have in common with Johan Cruyff.

i can see you point of view mate and can agree up to a point, but i still think we will be a better team with McGeady in it even in a cameo roll at worse it will put him in the shop window for us to get a fee for him, so i can't see what's not to like better that getting paid to sit around

Sanderson looks a class above us and to not play him is criminal. Not knocking our other players but surely this lad deserves a run of games. To be honest I would stick him in at centre forward rather than the dross we currently employ for that position.

Parkinson has no bottle to start a kid over a senior player.
Its the same as his subs, he darent make them too early incase he gets it wrong, so he leaves it as late as possible to make a change.
Its absolutely shocking that we have players not even able to get a start over players that they are better than, but to bring them on with 10 mins to go without giving them chance to make an impact is a pi$$take.
Sanderson was good enough for the Championship last year, but Parkinson seems to think Flanagan and McLaughlan are a better option <doh>.

I don't know why Sanderson isn't starting ahead of Flanagan or McLaughlin, particularly with Willis being out. He's got the pace and the flair to be a RWB too, which would release 09 to play in midfield. Madness!

Has he got pace? Get him on loan and play the younguns who have a bit about them AND will bust a gut to improve both themselves and Sunderland. It is absolutely impossible to be worse at the moment.

Yep, he's already said in his first interview that he can play as a RB aswell. McLaughlan has absolute zero pace, its a no brainer for Sanderson to play infront of him.
