@The Pub Landlord

To answer your earlier question, they were both visits to Whitehawk and Eastbourne Town.

I have a womble friend who lives in Portslade.

I wonder why Eastbourne has three teams? Eastbourne Borough, Town and United i believe.

Might try Lewes next.

Lewes would be a cracking tick.

Decent town and tidy ground next to the train station.

Eastbourne Borough Was Langney Sports not many years ago. I have the local league cup final programme from when Langney played my pub. It had some good community investment and developed beyond the other two.

My lighting company supplied the lights for the indoor bowls centre that is part of the complex.

Don't know anything about the others.

Hopefully I'll be able to drag myself down to Ebourne Utd before the season finishes.
I'll ring Landlord Taxis once there<cheers>

Hailsham as well.

The turnstiles in the last picture I'm informed are from the old Wembley Stadium!
They'll be installed when funds are available to do the work...

That looks like a decent bar & lounge area they have there...

I'm guessing this was the last game before the November lockdown.
But if you do have pictures from any other games attended Elfs I'd be glad to post them <ok>

At least we can finally close this thread after lockdown.

With Thomas Sandgaard owning the club, and doing such a brilliant job, there is no justification for any true Charlton fan not to attend our games.

I agree, and I believe Elfs has said he will be going to Charlton matches when fans are allowed back.

But he may enjoy taking in local non-league matches as well as watching Charlton again.
In which case we can all enjoy seeing those continued travels right here... <ok>

Also, of course nobody knows when all fans will be able to return to the Valley (not just a couple of thousand).
Almost certainly not until season 2021-22 methinks.

Not my favourite venue after the postponement last season at 14.15<yikes>.
However, today was very wet and windy(a bit like me in the old days on a Sunday morning) but the game was played thankfully.

Rusthall are based in Tunbridge Wells and brought a healthy 30 fans, they went home having enjoyed a very convincing 4-0 victory.

Snodland are in the midst of building new changing rooms and introducing a bar. This will improve this very modest set up immensely.

(Full) Admission £5
Programme £2
2 cups of tea £2
Total outlay £9

With the Government ready to anounce Lockdown 2 this afternoon we were very keen to get a game in.
We agreed to go down to Horsham and wait at the station to see if Broadbridge Heath was on(the weather was attrocious and many games were getting called off) this was our first choice, if off we would have gone to Horsham as they play on a 3g. The Secretary at Broadbridge rang at 14.15 and we jumped in a cab for the ground.

Broadbridge are into their second season at their new stadium, a very tidy ground and a decent drainage system apparantly!

Fortunately the efforts of the groundstaff and the Secretary ensured around 110(double their normal gate) witnessed a 2-0 home victory.

(Full)Admission £7
Programme £2
Food and drink £3.50
Total outlay £12.50
