like I said , I don’t think we should have anything to do with , Saudi , Bahraini , Chinese money etc. But for the powers that be to say no to one sport , but yes to another is just as disgusting IMHO . Enjoy what’s left of your weekend

The biggest risk to the takeover now isn’t the PL. It is Steve Bruce.

His Ashley would get so much credit from the fans if he sacked him.

 

I was just about to post that Bruce might have us in serious trouble by the time the PIF can buy the club... It won't surprise me if we get relegated and PIF do officially walk away...

 

The next 5 games will be key to us staying up imo

 

That’s correct. You could say these next five games are going to be pivotal in our history.

Keep Bruce and lose 4/5 then we are in serious trouble. PIF won’t be owners in that time frame so we won’t then go out and buy any players in the window.

Then MA has a serious problem. Stick with Bruce and risk losing everything.

Or sack him, Get someone in who knows what they are doing and buy some players to try and keep us in the league?

The **** thing is if we do pick up some points then SB will still come out of it smelling of roses.

If he loses them he will blame Injuries, negative vibes re the takeover and the fans putting to much pressure on.

 

I want us to do well I don't care bout what Bruce looks like tbh... Its all about being on a position for pif to go ahead when the battles won... Bruce's history anyway

 

I just hate him.

Who could we beat?

 

Out of Palace, Villa, West Brom, Leeds Fulham I'd be hoping to win all of them tbh as this is a defining point of the season. But 7/8 would be a good return at a minimum as that would mean taking points off 3/4 out of the 5 teams at worst. I'd suggest the later 3 (three promoted clubs) will be A- crucial and B- the indicator of if we are going down or not.

I am praying Bruce has the sense to switch away from 3 at the back over this next run as they are winnable games if we actually try and win them...
