That is deeply offensive to any old loaf, or bagutte, for that matter. A bowl of semolina is more inspiring that this ****er
The only positive if he's not sacked by tomorrow is that the takeover could be close and they'll sack him anyway
I have never felt as low as i currently do following Sunderland 8th in league one man. This bloke needs to have deep pockets and good contacts to get us out of this mess
Huge changes are needed at all levels of the club. I'm praying this takeover is everything we hope it is but this is sunderland.....
A blindman can see he will not last very much longer...He is already on extended borrowed time imo.. giving him the job in the first place was another Donald masterclass.
The worst thing for me, and maybe for a lot of fans, is that I don't feel as annoyed as I usually do. It's as if I expected it, even though Doncaster were awful, we just never went for the jugular. And this is Sunderland all over. We need a new direction asap, the whole club is in total disarray.
I really hope so mate... This a low point for the club. Can't see any manager change until the ownership matter is sorted. The worry is that the longer it takes for that to happen the more our promotion chances fade away
Agree with this. Feel like positive changes need to happen fast before its too late. So many changes needed before we can hope to get out of this league so the sooner they happen the better the chances
I wasn't particularly enamored with Parkinson getting the job basically because I don't think he has the nous to get the team promoted and then take the team on. Unfortunately I've been proved right. I don't event think he can get us out of this league!
Some lovely sad and uplifting stories. Feel for everyone who has experienced awful things. This is mine from 2005 and one of the main reasons I don’t get anywhere near as pissed off about footy as I used to (Please ignore the photo) we raised £7000 for the neo natal at James Cook https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/double-tragedy-1535850
Agreed. I've known that since I first time I saw him and nothing changes. With him in side, we have no chance. But how can he still be our first choice striker if we can all see how useless he is? Four transfer windows later and he is still our first choice. Its incredible. Hes do bad it's not true. If I was new owners, I'd pay up his contract and tell him to f off. And replace him with a proper footballer
Life has a habit of showing you what's important. Raising £7000 is something to be proud of, even through the heartbreak
I expect Rodwell to step up to the mark shortly and sack him. His incoming employers will be expecting to see their CEO doing his job properly.
