That second try by May was really something.

Good win for the Chiefs last night, 33-3 at Quins. I feel it is good for the SW to have such a very good side to follow. Furthermore, it takes the attention away from the NW and London

Good win for the neighbours today Chilcs. If SFC can match the achievements of AFC Bournemouth and You Know Who in scoring 4, we shall all be very happy. Can't be any more of a fan than that.

Rather think they’d be more keen to be matching our achievements right now.

Exactly my thought. As relevant to me as how Oldham or Peterborough got on today.

Well quite. To go back to Ides’ original point, I can’t imagine a single member of the faithful at Kingsholm, Ashton Gate, or the Rec raising more than a mild congratulatory murmur at the achievements of Exeter.

I don't believe either of you have that closed mindset when it comes to commenting and commending the achievements of other sides.

Only in as much as it affects Southampton FC (or Bath Rugby, for that matter).

That may be the situatión at Bristol, but if you are a neutral, or even if you are partisan, then surely you can appreciate Exeter's Chiefs fantastic achievements that should mérit much wider recognition beyond the confines of club rugby.

They’re a good side, and play an attractive game. I’d much rather they were rubbish though.

Bath. A top team a few years ago. Sadly, their achievements were largely confined to the club rugby supporting fraternity and not celebrated nationwide, unlike Liverpool or United winning European trophies. By the way, didn't Bristol win the Challenge Cup?

Bath were the first British side to win the Heineken Cup, in 1998.

Against Breve, which I think is a club in the Frech Basque country. Great defending by Bath when Breve went for the touchline penalty in the hope of a pushover try. Did you go to the game?
