oh yeah, it's a blatant dive for a pen imo, if I were a ref I'd watch the VAR and if the player's legs move in sync even though only 1 has been touched then yellow for a dive.

Yes and yes. He's saying that it wasn't a clear and obvious error, so the VAR people shouldn't have referred it back to Oliver to watch.

Penalty all day long for me. Cuts back inside and clipped near the ankle...deflection of the ball by the tackling players shin irrelevant, he still stopped the attacker retaining possession which he would have done without the kick on his effing ankle.
