One in every five people who voted for leave now wished they hadn't.

4 in 5 beginning to think it was a bad idea, but unwilling ever to admit it.

Reference the protection Johnson is giving to Patel, it has never been clearer that rules are only to be followed by the public, and not those setting them.
That she is getting away with a clear cut bullying charge, in anti bullying week, is beyond belief.
Thinking back to her unauthorised trip to Israel. Did that coincide with an upsurge in anti Semitic complaints against Corbyn/Labour?
Genuine question as my memory isn’t great when it comes to time.
What should genuinely concern us as much as all this is the statement coming out of the Tory party, that Patel is “Highly regarded and popular amongst the grassroots party members”.
If this doesn’t tell us just how **** our society has become, then there is no hope for the future.

This is worth remembering, the next time a Tory mentions low unemployment rates.

I’m confused as to why Boris Johnson is not totally kissing Trump’s ass right now. Tell Trump he won the election, invite him for a visit. Tell him you will send troops or ships someplace no one cares about... off the coast of Greenland, maybe. Trump will sign. You won’t have to actually do any of it. Trump won’t be President long enough, and he wouldn’t care if there was no follow through anyway.

He’s actually an easy touch, because he just wants credit for things instead of doing the work. Like he withdrew from NAFTA, but then Mexico and Canada got him to sign pretty much the exact same agreement. China is winning the trade war. Every company from Foxcon to Carrier screwed Trump over, too.

if you stick with Trump long enough, his incompetence, greed and stupidity is going to hurt you ou eventually. But that’s the beauty of this situation. He won’t be there long enough for that to happen, Trump will sign anything that makes him look good, because he has no intent of living up to his agreement. But he will be gone, and Biden does honor contracts. Trump would like nothing better than to sign a bunch of **** deals, take credit, and then stick Biden with the mess just to screw him.

3 words. Good Friday Agreement. No Anglo-US trade deal which jeopardises that will get through Congress.

Why all the fuss about Pritti Patel. The civil servants in the Home Office needed sorting out and she was just the person to kick their arses.

As a long term councillor I have dealt with people in public service. They have good points and bad points. They tend to be reliable and steady without being especially dynamic. What is essential though is employment rules are followed, that is what they are there for. If you are unhappy with the performance of an employee screaming, swearing and throwing staplers at them all tend to be roughly equal in terms of the improvement it is likely to bring about. The woman is a harridan, little man syndrome in a woman.

Re travel insurance. The brexitears knew what they were voting for that's what they said across media. EU countries should refuse entry to those without means of support and health care.

No .... not at all .... the U.K. should just refuse entry to those. We’re British, so we should be able to go anywhere and have full coverage. After all, we invented the world .......

(Perhaps this should be in blue?)
