Any company big enough to afford a prime time TV campaign at Christmas must start planning well ahead. I wonder if these adverts had all been approved before that Fed took the knee a bit earlier than most in Minnesota. Animation particularly takes an age to produce event he computer stuff.

Advertising execs would pitch the sale and tell the companies that in order to reflect modern Britain they must include minority groups and these companies are constantly chasing the profit they do as they are told. I am certain that they will say that only having white middle classed families alienates certain sectors of society. Not that those minorities are the ones who give a f.uck, as long as you don't show dark people eating fried chicken and watermelon on a regular basis they won't complain.

We have reached the stage now where it is odd NOT to see minority groups represented everywhere. Play about Apollo 13 features a black astronaut. This is not my usual rant about Elizabethan London being seemingly over-run with negroes but an actual within living memory historic event where a black actor replaces a real life and still alive white person with the reason given that as it is a drama it is acceptable and that the play uses the backdrop of outer space to highlight American racism (yes folks, this happens). Calling it Dark Side of the Moon sounds a bit racist given the cast list.

 

I'm guessing it's mostly blacks and Muslims because they believe our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ existed, unlike most of white UK.
