No time to post properly, just wanted to thank RTB ... ... it would be easy to follow the team's example with a half hearted effort. Top class thread as usual and a big part of this board. "Darren Moore’s first-choice stopper, Josef Bursik, has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Stoke City." https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...7AnW5gznN4ycT7aGiF2qERfVb2ckqc2FQAz14VvpghNck
That will only work to our advantage if we can hit the target mate. Recent performances suggest we can't, but I live in hope that we finally find our shooting boots. Great Post again RTB!
They have a few missing. Including their best striker and winger https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...adds-doncaster-rovers-injury-problems-3041644
I probably should support Donny seeing as I grew up there and don't live too far away now. No interest in them whatsoever though I hope we stuff them. No idea what to expect from Parky I've got an inkling he might surprise us with the team selection with his job on the line but then again you wouldn't be shocked to see him play the safest team imaginable.
I never get the scores right but there's always a first time so I'm going for 3-1 to the Lads. If you're going to get replaced soon PP go out in a blaze of glory and tell the ****ers to get at them. Ha'Way the Lads. Great thread as usual RTB.
cheers again RTB. no confidence in parky to select a winning squad, think the players are losing confidence on the pitch (why try to create when our 'strikers' miss from a yard out) youngsters will start to lose that rawness and will wonder why they should put themselves out if they are going to be overlooked...so many 'down' factors now i just feel we will struggle to work as a unit and get the wins we need. do we hope for another loss and pray it sorts SD's head out and he signs for the takeover, that it is parky's last chance and a loss will see him sent on his way or hope the takeover finally happens and we can all start to feel good again? not even sure i want to watch this one to be honest after the way i felt last week, it really is starting to remind me of FIFA98. (the game, for those who remember it)
Just seen an article saying Parky will be making a load of changes. Also in the same article, it says that McLaughlin and Flanagan will be straight back in the side couldn’t make it up.
Press conference.... https://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2020/november/doncaster-rovers/doncaster-presser Willis out for 3 weeks
Not surprising really. Parky has been playing him even though he hasn’t been fully fit. Just shows how reluctant he is to use any youngsters.
good thread as usual RTB due to Parkinsons disease i assume we will get beat again, hope Embelton and our other youngsters don't want away because of him and can hang on until we get shot of him.Our dopey manager has me at one of my lowest ebbs yet supporting the lads , so ill just stay on here for the results and not get myself worked up watching it live.
I know it is what it is etc, but just a few year back, who'd have thought we would be fearing a game against the mighty Doncaster. Reality check over.
HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM The enthusiasm is draining fast Parky lar. Nothing more than a convincing win will do for me right now. Lose and I want you to fook off.
Especially with players like Younger in the U23's and Sanderson available we play half fit players instead, it borders on lunacy.
For reasons that are too complicated to explain I'm suddenly up for this game and looking forward to collecting essential alcohol based accompaniments from the lovely Sylvie in the corner shop. I'll be on here, watching my stream and cheering on the shirt like it was a cup final ... ... Haway Sunderland, doesn't matter who's in those shirts, this is Sunderland and I want us to win. KTF and never forget who we are!
