I wouldn't read too much into what Kev has said, probably been taken out of context. I doubt he actually thinks a 22 year old will be doing the day to day running of a football club. DOF reportedly being interviewed and its clear he will have the right footballing people around him. Also if they do want to bring their own manager, don't be surprised if its someone we haven't really heard of before.
Fookinell some people are easy upset. What the fook did phillips say to suddenly become a total outcast. He been filmed with a mag top on or something, or is it just because he questions a supposed takeover that isnt exactly clear cut anyway.
I don't think anyone has outcast him like. But if those quotes are genuine and verbatim, then I think people are justified questioning what he is saying. He says he has done his research and then what he has said is clearly lacking research.
I think the key is he say that if SD remains on the board there will be no difference. Shareholders aren't guaranteed a set on the board.
Some of the comments towards him i thought were a wind up though. Have not read the article but is it just the fact he questions a young lads football knowledge.
Realise that but OTT in my view. Hes a modern day star for us and juat because he questions the rumoured takeover people stating hes not welcome back etc.
I've just read it and fook me he is saying what the majority are saying. After the initial good feeling when it was first announced, this has slowly dissipated when the realisation that the two parasites will still be involved. He was asked a question about it and gave his response.
To me, he came across as a Friday night poster who's just flapping his gums without engaging his brain. It reinforced my previous advice to people, 'never meet your heroes'. To disrespect a man he's never met, in that way, is very poor. Dreyfus may turn out to be the best owner we've ever had ... ... if he's worse than a middle class insurance salesman, no one had ever heard of, then I'll be the first to admit it. Bad move from Phillips that I'm sure he'll attempt to backtrack from .... sure.
Its not a bad move from phillips, its just his opinion. Nobody knows what % stake CM and SD are going to have. Or if this takeover is def going to happen. Hopefully it does!
