Couldn't find a suitable thread, didn't want to start one and had to go back ages to find one about Newcastle. Just wanted to say ... ... this is everything that's wrong with modern football. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...tle-coronavirus-pandemic-according-agent.html
The mags love him. On their page it’s all Bruce’s fault!! Every time I’ve watched him I’ve thought “David Bellion but worse”. He’s rubbish! No way a Premier League player!!
I'll have less slander said about David Bellion, that lad got me into supporting the lads. Scorer of the winning goal of the first game I ever attended.
Almiron is one of those players who looks like he’s doing lots whilst actually doing **** all. Defenders in Spain are brutal he’s get torn to shreds, couldn’t see Simeone looking at him when he doesn’t always use Lemar who’s twice the player, far bigger, and more physical. Agent after a payday.
Never a truer word spoken and the sad reality is that they don’t appear to be governed by anyone. Pogba deal to Utd. Agent took £30m and no questions are asked. Not a penny of that money goes back into football. Nothing
Getting slightly back on topic... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-takeover-mike-ashley-update-23038380 boycoutt the Premier League!
He's a headless chicken. Just because he might be one of our better players, it doesn't mean he is any good. No skin off my nose if he goes.
This reminds me of the time in the late 80s that some of their fans tried to sue the mags under the trade description act claiming they weren't playing football which lead to them being relegated! It made them an even bigger laughing stock. And I'm sure some tried something similar when we went up after Swindon were done after the play offs by trying to sue the league saying they should have went up instead of us. There's a total lack of awareness regarding them, and it's guaranteed to give you a laugh.
Newcastle 0 - 1 Chelsea after 10 minutes. Some pretty poor stats for a home team. Possession Home19% Away81% Shots Home0 Away4 Shots on Target Home0 Away2
BBC, "The way this is going, Newcastle might not get another kick, let alone a chance." Bound to be a draw then
They're lucky to have the no. of points they have cos, judging by what I read, they play like one of the worst teams in the league. Even so, they always seem to do enough
