What a pity that Baz doesn't want to face the people who provide the money in part to keep his investment in the club going. I feel sure though that if Timperley is asked the right questions about the off field progress, then some light will be shone on what is happening. That of course assumes that questions are not censored.

A manager who is still learning how to deal with public questions, a scout who has only been looking at the sort of players we would want to sign for three months, a boardroom member who over the last 13 years has learnt that the best policy is to say as little as possible, and a player.

Don't get me wrong, they're fantastic people and I think they're all capable of doing the job we want them to do. But I doubt we're going to learn anything from that panel.
