Im afraid its time to get rid of Bruce now.He claims he can't understand what all the hyseria, well i'll tell you.Seven games played perfomances have been woeful, we're out of the league cup,put by a championship club(albeit a well run outfit) that lot up the turned us over yet again and we hav'nt got a left back, decent center half(brown and o'shea excluded)a creative midfielder or a proven centre forward.apart from than that nowts the matter. On the subject of Sir Naill moving over, sad to see but i hope its because he cant bring himself to sack the fat one being such a nice chap, and leave the big decisions to a nastier bloke (i hope) thak you and goodnight.
Keep posting mate, you may have got a better reaction, than having snide comments, about something new to debate, if you had been pro-Bruce though.
Now is not the time we can get rid of Bruce. The time was at the end of last season, when a new manager would have had the cash opportunity to mould a team. Now we have Bruce's players. He pursuaded them to come here (not a small feat in itself) and they will have to rally round for him. I wouldn't fancy being the man to come in right now, but that in itself gives us another problem. If we keep going as we are, by December we could be right in the clarts. Which manager worth his salt will risk his reputation if we are bottom 3? Which players will we attract? We are now caught between a rock and a hard place. Many wanted change this Summer. It didn't happen. All we can hope for now is the players we have do the job. x
Premier League and Football League clubs in England spent almost £100m last season on changing their manager. According to figures released to the BBC by the League Managers Association (LMA), the cost of compensation, legal fees and 'double contracts' amounted to £99m. A 'double contract' is when a sacked manager's contract is honoured until a certain point in time but his replacement also requires a salary...

I do wish we could stop sniping at each other about Bruce in or out. I am not pro or anti Bruce, but would like to read some of the posts without having Bruce in or out SHOVED down my throat. Going on and on about it isn't going to make it go away. Everyone has their own view, their own opinions, that has been stated many times on this board. The mags must be laughing their heads off at all the infighting. Whether you want Bruce in or out, isn't it time to draw a line under it ""for now" 'cos we can't affect the decisions made at the top. I am as frustrated as many others with his tactics and team selections, but I won't snipe at others with a diferent view. Let's all unite and get behind the team If/when we get a new manager, as soon as any results go the wrong way, it will all start up again and those that advocated for whoever is "the" new manager will be slated by those who thought Bruce should stay or we should have got someone different than the one we got. It's becoming very tedious

Frankly I am pissed off with the comparisons with "that lot up the road." You are no less of a supporter just because the manager is failing and you say so. Stop it!!!!!!!!!
I was sniped at and told I had problem's reading. On a thread about driving away people from these boards. It seams a small minority who like to berate others for voicing their concerns, were threatening to leave because of all the negativity! This is the SAFC football forum not the SAFC appreciation society. EVen if things were going brilliantly at SAFC their would still be differences of opinion, as there always is in football. IMHO the original poster has a right to his opinion and every right to post it on a FORUM. He hasn't even got 5 posts yet, was Syd's comment put their to encourage debate? More likely to drive him away in my opinion.
Wasn't really complaining about the op. Mainly the snide comments about someone elses opinion, but yes I did spout on a bit.
MARTIN O’NEILL is the No.1 choice to replace Steve Kean at Blackburn should he be axed from Ewood Park. Kean is facing showdown talks with the club’s owners in India this week. Rovers have travelled to India to boost the club’s image but the trip will see Kean battling to save his job after a poor start. Kean insists he has the full backing of Venky’s but the millionaire chicken farmers are concerned by poor results and fans in revolt. Venky’s could appoint a director of football to help Kean or decide to make a change, with O’Neill their top target should they sack the Scot. The former Celtic and Aston Villa boss has been out of work since quitting Villa Park 14 months ago, but is desperate to return to the Premier League. Venky’s could face strong competition from Nottingham Forest, who are also keen on appointing O’Neill following the departure of Steve McClaren. Kean took over from Sam Allardyce in December but has managed just six league wins from 28 games. Despite keeping Rovers in the top flight last season, he has failed to win over fans who have held demonstrations this season following just one league win. Fans have vowed to hold more demonstrations inside and outside the ground when Tottenham visit Ewood Park on October 23.
