The UK has been a net importer of Oil and Gas since 1995. And, in this day and age, do you really think Oil and Gas is going to be further developed in an Independent Scotland (or UK for that matter). Fossil fuels are being phased out in favour of "greener" energy, not just here but worldwide.
I no longer care ... It’s a long tedious argument I am not revisiting . I’m not currently pro Indy and voted No. I was pro EU (many reasons that I’m not going to argue on ). I’m now waiting to see if it a deal or no deal Brexit and look towards a post Brexit UK and see what trade deals happen and how new ones in pipeline work out . Brexit meant Brexit iirc
Scotland is a world leader in renewable energy Drew. Don't it make you proud to be an interloper in such a woke nation?
I don't think Scotland are allowed another referendum so this entire topic is fruitless. Petrol and diesel cars phased out by 2030. I guess the lawnmower market will still be a thing
You dont, and it does not take 40 years to create one. The one with Japan took less than 1 year to conclude.
Oh dear! Oil is a hydrocarbon son. It is used to make all sorts of stuff. This is first year high school chemistry shìt we are talking here ffs. To think they gave this cùnt, and many like him, a vote on Brexit! We will sell it to England so they can continue to power their antiquated oil fired power stations
Aye! Because I worked in Grangemouth for about 15 years and they have a massive petrochemical site there where they use North sea oil to produce shìt that ain't fuel. I'm sure you're right though.
Said something similar before. I believe Scotland export more to England (if you would even call it export) than other EU countries so if UK leaves with No Deal i don't think Nicola will push for EU membership or she'd face larger tarrifs on Sco-Eng trade
Wee Nikola won't decide if Scotland rejoins the EU. They Scottish people will. How good will that be, deciding our own fate! What's not to like?
