Or never actually comment on the game. So in that light, I had better post about it! I thought Eaves was very good, he made life difficult and I thought he looked more composed, except for not putting the ball in the net when he had a chance. Samuelson was given an unexpected role and he took to it. Posters knock McCann, but he got it right last night. We have something that many clubs will envy, a complete second string, who all look capable of competing for a regular place. Biggest question of the night... where is Jordy?
The only actual facts about interested parties etc and the only one who actually put money on the table and a sale was agreed were the Chinese lot who the PL knocked back. Did you not buy a match programme for the Leicester game and read the chairman's farewell notes at the time ? The price will be decided when some one agrees that is the price they will pay. I don't know, you don't know. no-one knows.
Competitive second string....v L2 team....who aren’t very good. Eaves did alright....v L2 team....who aren’t very good....still couldn’t score.
Don't you find it funny that you know who will read your posts and respond even when they say they are not interested in what you have to say, and in some cases, have told you they are putting you on ignore? Are you disputing that Derby is regarded as a football city? Ever go to the Baseball Ground? Despite being a smallish stadium one of the best atmospheres there was.
I appreciate your circumstances and what it causes as my son's partner went through the same not so long ago resulting in her having a double mastectomy at age 32. I wasn't trying to make light of it. Just wondering if there was any progress. Wouldn't mind a Portsmouth type thing happening. Though in Hull there isn't the same type of supporter fanbase, largely due to there being not being just one, but two, rugby clubs. Though even at Portsmouth there have been some upsets, as there have been at other community clubs where somehow a section ending up making money out of it. I was on holiday in the New Forest the other year when they proposed recovering the Spinnaker Tower red. The uproar was amazing in the local media. I don't think the HDM and RH wWouldham got so behind objections. Of course it remains blue.
There aren't many examples of community ownership as it is a very difficult thing to achieve, and more difficult the larger the size of the club. With one our size you would need someone with a fair bit of cash to get involved as I don't think you could raise enough off the hard-core of 8-10,000 fans. How many could afford say £500, never mind thousands. I could being retired, no mortgage etc but those with kids, mortgages, rent etc would struggle. And of course if someone with a large wad came inhe would in all probability demand more of a say in things. It is notvan easy thing to do.
You may need WiKi to discover things others know but not everyone does. Derby has always been described as a football city. So you can't challenge that assertion correctly. I do smile at people who throw in high falutin' phrases in the mistaken assumption it makes them sound erudite when, in reality, it is meaningless verbiage.
Mirror mirror on the wall... 30 minutes and 4 responses to 3 different posters defending something suggests you think you are being misinterpreted. Or maybe you spout rubbish ? Not worth the effort.
I don’t think along the same lines as the supporters trust model, or ownership. My view is that we need a revolution in the way clubs are owned and that Hull City is ideally structured to do it.
With less professional sports teams as competition Most multi millionaires have grafted hard all their lives and made huge sacrifices and taken considerable risk to get to that stage in life. How on earth do you think they make their money?
It may seem that way to you. Not to a rational person though. It is called discussion. Or even politeness in responding. Rather creepy the way you follow me around, honing in on my posts and keeping track of the number of posts and the time frame. A sort of cyber stalking. And the only other posts you have responded to were ones where people had replied to me. I bet your favourite perfume is Obsession.
I had noticed there were never any insulting or derogatory comments in your responses to others. Including the above. Discuss.

OK so first of all we need to understand the difference between a millionaire and a multi millionaire. 2 million is multi but here we are talking about those able to buy and fund a football club like ours (valued at 30 - 50 million by the present owners) So you need at least that much, but then again you wouldn't use all your money to buy a club, at a minimum I would guess you would need to have at least as much again to keep you in the life style you're accustomed too. So multi millionaires with 60 to 100 million I would suggest have not grafted hard all their lives to attain such wealth. How do I think they make their money, Handed down, inherited, wheeling and dealing on the markets, property investments, friends in high places giving them contracts to secure PPE. All very smart but it is not hard graft like digging holes or laying bricks.
