Wasn't Abromovic on his way to buy Fulham, or some other club?

We weren't discussing that. We were on about if you had a load of money would you want to make more or laze about on a beach. I would opt for the beach, but I am a lazy sod.

They are. Last time Derby averaged less than 10,000 was before WW1. And that is in a smaller city.

Tottenham. My understanding is that he'd verbally agreed to buy them, was on his way to Heathrow, then he changed to chelski.

That and the fact he's after building nigh on 200 homes on the land next to their stadium. Their council has a worse relationship with Swann than some 'others', and the council had to refund the football club £56,000+ for a planning application that was months and months overdue the statutory 13 week period. Swann's best staying away from us anyway as he's got a thin skin, and has threatened message board users with legal action over 'comments' they've made. His son sounds familiar though as he called some of their fans morons!

I wasn't really saying he should be buying us. I was trying to point out that he is a man who could buy and sell the Allams. There are plenty out there still, some within our own city, and the club must be looking quite attractive at the moment to anyone that fancies a punt. Hopefully some are. These people must talk amongst themselves and If I were the Scunny or GY owner I'd be looking enviously over the river to what they could have.

The KCOM is a community asset. It belongs to the community already.
Community ownership in part or in full of clubs is probably what will save the game after Covid.
The thing that destroys clubs is being owned by people who’s only aim is to develop the land.

An asset is a resource with economic value that an individual, corporation, or country owns or controls with the expectation that it will provide a future benefit. So, how is the KCOM a community asset? How does the community derive benefit? If City were pulling in 20,000 and you added F.c's crowds only 10% of the community are using it.
What is the latest on City becoming a community owned club? How far along has that got?

Yes a bit like supporters who don’t actually support the club.
Community ownership of football generally follows after business failure.

The objective was to ask a question and promote an idea.
You may have read on this forum that I am experiencing personal problems at home, whilst trying to maintain my business that has been extremely busy over the last few months. So I stepped back for a while. But it will be back on the agenda soon. Maybe when my wife’s chemo has finished.

As for the KCOM being a community asset, it is registered as such to provide some protection.

And that they've researched/read some article via googling Wiki, yet have not extracted the essence of the article to respond to the person they are challenging correctly.

Limited interest. All ultimately failed for reasons which are widely disputed. Price generally assumed to be too high then and still too high now.
