Just my opinion In areas of high poverty you will have high crimes rates drug dealing Mugging House breaking it’s seen as an easy option Drugs , in particular, created wealth which will be targeted by others In London, there is a culture geared to this (top boy) and its glamorised it’s seen as a way out!! But it’s not , it’s usually a downward spiral ... the culture needs to change ... Manchester in the 90s seen a huge surge in gun n knife crime due to drugs ... huge supply and demand Glasgow has seen a huge increase in Eastern European’s targeting the drug market usually ran by Glasgow gangs ... the old guard have died off and “went straight“ (ferris etc) Dublin has a massive drug n gang problem ... Poverty plus drug money = crime there are other issues , with territory , gang loyalty etc also , you just get wee ****ers stabbing folk
There are more white people in extreme poverty than blacks . The socioeconomic bullshit doesn't stand up to scrutiny or explain why poor Immigrants that settle here from other races tend to pull themselves out of poverty and in some cases like Indians and Oriental Asians tend to do better at school and earn more money than British people .
There is definitely other factors as I said , the culture around crime such as music has an effect this was seen during ‘gangsta rap’ and now ‘drill’ etc white poor kids had indie n rave... better drugs now poor white kids have ****e dance music N ****e drugs Probably other factors like parents/family etc
