Two good goals from Samuelsen, the first an absolute belter. Keep this up and we should record a comfortable win. Think Coyle looks a decent player and if he stays free from injury he will keep Emmanuel on his toes for the right back slot.

What a lovely goal, he just stroked it, you really don’t need to knock the skin off...

Batty's having a good game. Alfie Jones and McLoughlin look good at the back too.

He's (Batty) improved as the game has gone on tbf to him .. was well off the pace at the start

Fair, but given how Docherty has done very little so far this season despite the hype from Rangers fans, do you not think Batty or Slater deserve a run in the league?

Tbf i think Dougherty has been one of our decent players this season .. him and Smallwood have done a lot of the dirty work that goes unnoticed

    Nope, don't see it.
Agree with Swanny ( which is also not fashionable!).
Even when he does control it he normally follows it with a poor pass, and just isn't getting into right positions for a big CF.
He should have shone tonight. Nowhere near good enough.

Not saying he's been bad at all, I was just expecting a bit more from him. I'd expect Smallwood to do a lot of the dirty work anyway given he's a defensive midfielder. I was under the impression Docherty was more box-to-box.

Agree with this. Was surprised people think Eaves has done well tonight. He's just looked like a donkey who can't pass again. Yeah, he uses his strength to hold the ball up well but his first touch has been inconsistent and his passing is just not good enough. As a centre-forward, he doesn't get into the right positions and his link-up play with midfield is absent.

One of my visits there with City was met by a bouncer on the door saying to me "**** off Yorkie, you're not coming in." Shyte indeed.

It was the same other games. We need a bit of patience, keep possession with short passes rather than giving it back to them.

Yeah, maybe I'm being harsh on him as it's early days but I was expecting him to chip in with more assists and the odd goal given how Rangers and Hibs fans hyped him up. His energy and effort is great.
