First time i've been into a proper supermarket/superstore, not some ****ty little Aldi/Lidl, for over a year.
I hated every moment. But reminded me as to why the big companies are doing so well.


I broke my golden rule, i now have a big stupid TV in my bedroom..
I bought a full duck ffs..
Beer cheap as ****.

I may do it again in a few months.

I butchered it up earlier....Gave the legs to my mum and dad.
Took the breasts.. The wings.

Spent a bit of time cutting the rest, making some wraps....Roasted the giblets, already ate them, duck heart and liver. yum

 

20 % that's a canny discount by any means.

 

So is 20% all colleague discount, I thought it might be 10% or 15%, amazed it is as much as 20%.

got a daft TV, already reduced, by 120, but got another 54 off....£216 for a 50 inch tv ffs.

 

Thing just connected to my internet. And about 100 channels I'll never watch..

I actually ventured into a superstore today, it was horrid....

 

You wouldn't want to go into a Walmart then mate, they are absolutely huge.

 

I went into Boldon, which is the bigggest Asda store in the NE.
Checkouts really quiet....

Seen a few folk buying teles in the local Sainsbury’s this week. Found it quite odd considering Black Friday is in a couple of weeks, although Comm’s got a bargain either way tbf.

Made an offer on a house today and don’t know whether it’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever done or potentially one of the best.

Almost certain the arse is gonna fall out of the market early next year.

 

Honest opinion. If you’re selling to move & upsize, the falsely inflated market makes little difference when you factor in the stamp duty holiday, if you’re buying as a investment & not as a home - don’t do it.

I think the arse will defo fall out of the job when the SD holiday ends and the full effects of the end of furlough and *cough* that thing, are felt next year.

My mates been trying to shift his house for over 3 years and the SD holiday finally got some sucker to take it on.

 

Yeah it’s an investment lol. Got a fair bit of cash burning a hole so gonna see what happens.
