But who is saying that we can sign someone now before January? I can't see anyone who is demanding us to break the rules to sign someone before the window opens? What is a waste of time and energy? Debating about the need for a CB, and which CB we need to bring in? Is that not the point of a forum? From what I can see, it sounds like reasonable people accept that we need a CB, and want one as soon January window opens. And I do agree with you in that we shouldn't settle for any CB. But I think we need to be aggressive to sign the CB's that we do want, and it should be done in January.
