If I was the suspicious type I could be excused for thinking that's extremely good timing considering what's going on at the minute.

Some people on here have been saying for a while that there would be a few leaks just prior to an announcement. It looks like they could be right.

They could be moving the SAFC.com domain to a new provider. The DNS updates tend to take 24-48 hours. During that time the old site would stay live.

Been helping a pal out last week he's renovating an old cottage in the wild of Northumberland (just over the border actually)
Anyway we slept in the cottage on Thursday night so we could crack on early on Friday
No electricity. No phone service Camping stove gas camping light.
Spent the night sat around a roaring wood fire sharing a bottle of 10 year old Aberlour
Like going back in time. Was bloody marvelous

"Fans will however be able to access all existing pages, with the process expected to be completed by Wednesday 18th November"

Is this some sneaky snippet that they're giving us and there isnt really a server upgrade.. just them telling us announcement is Wednesday*

    *wishful thinking I know..

Think so and I certainly don't think this leak has come from Donald
This has come from the new chaps
Get the feeling that all the " it's not happening brigade" who have been maybe getting some snipets of info from inside the club have been completely blindsided

My son's birthday so looking in here for the first time today and it appears the takeover has gone from consortium negotiations to done deal and just awaiting the official announcement, probably when the SAFC servers are back up.

Yeehaaa! Drown me in beer and call me Hank!

Could they be changing the domain name? Or could it be the site being revamped which would be an interesting use of funds at this time?

No, I think it’s because it’s me birthday on Wednesday and they want to announce it then.

I think this timescale of a fortnight is way off like. Feels like it could be confirmed any day

Doubt they’d change the domain name. They’ve used SAFC.com for donkeys years.

might not actually be that all. The time frame is about the same as stuff I’ve done in the past.

would be cool if they are going with an upgraded site. Tying it in with an announcement of a takeover would be decent as well. New site new owners new dawn kind of thing.

perfect time to re launch SAFC.com
