Oooh a poll taken in the middle of a second pandemic lockdown shows Labour a bit in front, I must completely change my thinking and believe Sir Starmer will be the next duly elected Prime Minister. Hmmmm, naw.

Can you tell me what the difference is between voting for a party who you don't really like much or believe in as opposed to voting for a party who you are wholly behind if it is THE SAME PARTY? I voted Labour last time round and it meant nothing, I'll vote for them again next time round and it will still mean nothing as I am in a part of the world that is almost always blue with the occasional orange, never red. But I am apparently an utter c.unt because I call it as I see it? Are you saying Labour are not to be held accountable or ridiculed in any way? That sounds a bit Putin-esque to me.

Brexit was only able to happen because Labour ignored its own grass roots supporters. The UK put Boris f.ucking Johnson in Number 10 ffs, what more proof do you need that Labour is washed up? It's got years, maybe decades, before it can be credible again. I'm not so sycophantic to ignore the bleeding obvious.

Hard to argue with that tbf. But on the other hand, in my lifetime the Berlin Wall came down, apartheid ended in South Africa, and punters in Norn Iron stopped blowing up each other’s High Streets, so things can get better. Oh, and we still haven’t had a nuclear war yet either, and that looked like a racing cert throughout the 60s and 70s. Reasons to be cheerful.

The sort of person that agrees to filling in questionnaires about politics would usually be left leaning, and the people walking the streets with clipboards are mostly students with gender studies degrees and will probably only ask ****s and people with blue hair anyway or fill them all in themselves in Starbucks.
