Morning all, bright and sunny day in eastern bandit country.

Feeling much better after my chest infection, and especially pleased that I managed a 10k run on Sunday with said infection. I must be getting fitter!!!

How did the Nest's get together go??? I've tried to read back about it but most of it was soured by a poor game.

Surely its in their interests to have you back at work and to be organised about it.

Afternoon all, an early start to chase estate agents in town after their failure to get back to me despite e-mails and phone calls. The world of fantasy that is France sometimes continues and the use of the language can be confusing. "We do not have that house on our books." The internet site similar to Rightmove clearly gives your name, address and telephone number says I. "We do not have that house on our books." Why then does the site say that you do have it, I ask. "We do not have that house on our books." You might have let me know I suggest, do you have problems with this site? "Try one of the other agents in town, they might have it" is the haughty response. Feeling that it would be impolite not to thank them, a hurried "Merci" and we leave.

Going down the road to another agent we stumble across the one that does have it on their books. "It is not good" we are told when we say we would like to go in and have a look round. Being English we take this to mean that it is in poor condition. The guy in the agency who appears to be totally hung over qualifies his statement by saying that it is only average. Anyway we now have an appointment for this afternoon and will make up our minds.

The joys of house hunting and it is not even for us. :(

My company has changed from Outlook to Googlemail and from IE6 to Mozilla Firefox to give the service for email. As that did not work we are moving again to Google Chrome. I know IE6 and Outlook were old, but they worked.

OFH - an estate agent that give you a honest opinion of a place, very rare? Over here it would be "a fixer-upper" or "quaint and old fashioned" or possibly "vintage" <doh>

Hmmm, 30 mins by train = a little drinky. Not a bad suggestion? I might be able to persuade Mrs Sandy for that one and even get my mate to come too. He's the only other hornet in Sandy!!!

Thats not a bad trip. Its the walk that would be the worst i bet. Through a city of thugs who are likely to rip you head off if we win. Eeeek. I dont like that place very much, despite having an Ex there.

In the hundreds of people at uni, i have yet to find a fellow hornet.

I've never been to an away game so would be an experience (apart from Wembley). Only 15 mins walk from the station to the ground according to Google Maps. But I'm sure if I go we'll be able to find a pub somewhere before the game.

I always seem to find fellow hornets on my travels....was once walking round Barcelona with my old away shirt on(1999-2000 blue and silver stripes), and was jumped on by another Hornet!!!

Even as a child I spent a week in Cornwall and found another child on the camp site who was a Watford supporter. I must be a magnet for yellow

There are a few families in the Village who are hornets fans. Even their child wears his Wfc kit to football training.

Yeah the ground not too far away and its quite easy to get to. Either myself or maybe Hornette will get the info an start a thread/group as we get closer to the date.

On a completely different subject I saw this whilst trying to remember the year of my away shirt. It's the Watford ladies shirt but if you changed the red to yellow I think it would be a pretty good away shirt. Reverse the colours and the home kit wouldn't look to shabby too.

I am preparing to be shot down in flames and ridiculed!!!
