It's bollocks anyway, where were the pacey attacking players to counter attack with? If anything we were set up to play long balls for Wyke to nod down to Grigg.
He sounds completely void of ideas to fix the problem. He keeps mentioning expected goals are higher than the goals we score. Surely that should tell him what's needed, a midfielder who delays their run into the box would would get on the end of most of the balls Gooch and Hume were pulling back from the by line, a striker who can finish would also help.
No motivation, no enthusiasm, no eye contact, no get up and go.... So please just get up and go Phil, because we need someone who can enthuse and motivate the team and the fans, not your miserable persona making everyone downright depressed.
Not long after this bloke came we went on a real horror run. That was followed by a run if results playing a three that neatly got us back to where we had been when he arrived. Then the season petered out after another decline with a meek draw against Gillingham. We are obviously at the start of another really bad run. If he doesn't go very sharpish, the season's gone instead.

I'm sick of turning up expecting a full english breakfast and being served cold, lumpy porridge! Our head chef doesn't supply the menu requirements and doesn't make the best of the ingredients he has. Instead we get served up an ill-prepared and monotonous porridge that is as vile as it looks. Surely the owners can see that they have a cook in place of a chef - and not even a good cook at that! Apologies for the stodgy metaphors, but it isn't worth discussing football in relation to Parky. For the love of God will someone please put us out of his misery!
Can't really defend the last 3 performances. There's been enough chances but missing so many shows a lack of confidence. If he can't motivate and lift spirits hes going to have to go. Take over coming it would benificical to get a caretaker in to lift the mood and the pressure for the new gaffer. I'm normally in the give managers time camp but his brand of football is ****e too. Just seen this and its boiled my piss. What kind of so called professional footballer would miss that? Danny Grahams sitter against Charlton was equally as bad though tbf. Have we ever had such an inept bunch of strikers EVER? Charlie Wyke who we also paid a stupid amount for(900k), is our main man. That pretty much sums up how bad we are this season.

The two leading goal scorers from last season and the only 2 who look like they can create a chance this season and both of whom should be starting either side of a central striker and he has one on the bench and the other playing rightwing back. Bloke is absolutely clueless trying to be too bloody clever with his system. Just play 4 4 2.
