Just got in from my sons trampoline/bounce followed by McShit birthday thing. Nine 11 year olds, plus my daughter. One of his mates just smeared cup cake topping all over the bimmer back seats, the little ****er. Plus some nice dollops of McFlurry. Cheers kid. Beer in hand, golf on now. Actually managed 18 holes myself this morning between the torrential rain and gale force winds.
No, haven't got round to it. Will hopefully do so next week, had a ****er of a week just gone and never got started
I'd say so, when you get to £35 plus there is a difference, £75 is the most I've gone, think you may be getting more into rarity rather than taste thereafter. My favourite at £35 is Arran 10 yr old non chilled filtered, £5 more you get the wonderful Bunnahabhain 12 yr old, the latter improves with a tiny drop of water added. Red breast 12 yr old pot stilled is a great Irish. Cognac, I go for ABK6 VSOP
Is this your way of testing the water to see who else gets regularly pegged on a Saturday night mate?
This ^ Everyone’s palette is different and it’s about what you enjoy, you don’t have to spend more than £50-60 to get a very nice quality single malt imo & there’s plenty of more than decent malts in the £35-£50 range.
Love a Talisker, need to get me a bottle. I'd go for Laphroigh after that but can't see past a Talisker if i'm having a single malt.
Not a fan of those smoky peaty whiskies. I like a nice clean whiskey, those peaty ones have got a distinct mouthwash taste to them.
