Not to be blunt, mate, but I don't really care what he did at Gillingham. I care what he's done/doing for Hull City and so far, he's done **** all. Clumsy on the ball, gives the ball away far too much and ****s up the most bread and butter things a striker should do, such as that one-on-one with Burton's keeper. Magennis, as wild as this sounds typing it out, is currently our best target man/centre forward. I'm not including KLP or Wilks in that because McCann hasn't used them as centre forwards much this season, so Magennis is the only decent player to fill that role right now. Him scoring so many goals for Gillingham means nowt to me when he fails to score clear-cut chances with better service. The ball to put him through on goal was good, he did well to beat the offside trap but when it came down to it, he panicked and fired it straight at their keeper. I'm not asking him to be Aguero in front of goal, but I'd expect a striker to do much better with goal-scoring chances like he had today.
I'd sell him in January. Free up some wages and might get £1 million for him if we're lucky. Dunno why Greaves was dropped and Jordy brought back in. Burke/Greaves looks like a solid pairing for sure and one I can see developing quite well if given the chance. Alfie Jones, McLoughlin and Festus Arthur are adequate for backup/rotation to Burke and Greaves. Jordy's deadweight now.
I strongly disagree. Unless the manager has played the correct formation it doesn't sit right with me even if we win.
I finally got one on Thursday for the Rochdale coverage. It took five e-mails and me making ot clear I wasn't giving in. I just got automated replies to the first two complaints. The picture buffered regularly today till 12 minutes then held steady after that. It was very fuzzy though. Was it the same for everyone? I know it was similar in South Africa and the buffering was constant there.
I think the excessive buffering last year contributed to the poor run of form. It must be really distracting for the players.
You're too ****ing obvious to miss. Did I touch a nerve somehow ? Any element of truth in what I've posted in response to your posts before ? Glad you're happy City were the better team today. Few reports on this particular thread suggest there were some negative aspects to their performance. Even Blind Pugh would spot that.
