We should maybe consider looking at Jon Mellish, in January. He played for Gateshead and then Carlisle, always as a defender. His manager seen another side to his game and put him in midfield. He's banged about 10 goals in the last 10 games. He looks a very tidy player.
well i guess that half dropped us all back to reality with a slap. is it just me expecting too much?, once again a supposed inferior team is showing us how to actually pass a ball and create openings, luckily for us they have 'overcooked' the final ball but the build up play looks so simple, forward passes rather than side to side and back. gooch is right off the boil but he has never had a good game in that position, grigg huffing and puffing again but when it comes to the crunch seems to hold himself back, wyke being himself, scowen needs to learn to take that extra touch at the right time...let's see how/if parky changes it.
