Other footballers manage it. If they've chosen not to stay on football after their playing career ends, that should be respected, but there is absolutely nothing stopping them doing it. There's far more obstacles for the disabled to get involved, as just one example.
What, so black people shouldn't take a knee because they're inadequate and it just makes them feel better?
Its weird watching when I know we arent gonna score in next few minutes, cos Chazz couldn't keep quiet. Has he sneaked into the stadium?
You mean like useless managers like John Barnes who makes out nobody wants to employ him because of racism? Many managers get one or two jobs and then never get another chance.
People who ar against racism are inadequate? What a weird take from you, and that's saying something.
We just seem to make so many poor decisions in the final third. I guess that's League One quality for you. Wilks in particular. I know he might come up with a goal but for every 10 decisions that lad makes on a football pitch, I'm sure at least 6 are bad ones. Gets involved with the opposition so gives away stupid fouls, too often doesn't play in someone else when they are in a better position. I actually find him really stressful to watch!
Not very good that. Mayer and Scott not contributing enough for me, I'd rather have seen Adelakun on the right, he's got pace and skill that Mayer's lacking.
No. They should't take knee to support a Marxist organisation that wants to defund the police and end capitalism
All this politics has nothing to do with football and the football authorities and broadcasters shouldn't get involved
The percentage of black managers versus the percentage of players suggests there has got to be a systemic issue re racism. If as you say (which I don't believe for one minute) they choose not to stay on, we have to explore why.
On a more relevant note, we haven't scored, which is a bit **** against ten man Burton Albion. Dare I say it, we needed Magennis today. I daren't. Not sure it would have made a difference.
Nonsense, you could argue exactly the same about many other industries, and many other characteristics. Football has created a lot of wealthy BAME, there is nothing to stop any of them buying a club, or going on to be a manager. Where are the people kneeling outside of other industries, or on behalf of other minority groups, such as the disabled that are not represented?
