so far it is the only blot on the whole situation...but as i said elsewhere, they now have to play to the piper or they will be steadily squeezed out, just as smug has also stated (and others) these lads have serious money and are serious players in the business world...they have no qualms about giving people a wage when deserved, but try to piss them off or come over as a billy big balls and they are just as happy to show you WHY they are major players...so i would not worry over much.
Why is it reported Methven has retained 5%? Thought he had 6% has he been reduced to 5% as part of the deal to even the numbers up?
That was my initial understanding. It was just that a couple of articles phrased it slightly differently. Thanks I was just hoping that there might be another party with the missing 20%. I know getting greedy
Just read through the Times article and it looks like a journalist playing catch up, picking up bits of info from different places and cobbling something together. He doesn't seem sure about where the process is either tbh. It looks like they've written an article before the Guardian and have now had to alter it.
i would like the takeover completed as a 65th birthday present, so get cracking and sort it before next Friday! Then I would like the owners to find the u21 equivalents of Elliot, Arnott, Rowel, and Johnny Evans and blast through the division Keano style. However I am happy to wait in my shed for it to get sorted, not sure I am up to shed dancing like Hank but I might give it a go.
Exactly how I read it. He’s chasing someone’s coat tails. I think he may be a bit behind with his predictions as well.
Especially when Donald said he’d leave when he was no longer wanted and Methven slagging off fans, the pair of them are like bloodsucking leeches. For me they don’t deserve any future profit. Hopefully they won’t be hanging on for to long.
You'd think it's imminent then. Once the names start coming out in the press they might think they're better off announcing it themselves with their own take on it, rather then having everyone already know most of the details through papers (if there's nothing left to sort out of course).
