    I popped in to a place called Dan's Cafe for a bite to eat, but was sickened by all the non-stop George Michael music and memorabilia, I'm sure it was putting subliminal George Michael lyrics in my head...

    I'm never going to Dan's again

    Not a huge fan of prequels. They don't live up to the main series that they are linked to IMO.

Born in the shadow of a royal castle this is a rags to tatters story of a lad born into poverty whose only claim to fame is his ability to annoy people on Not 606 and wasting his inheritance on a can of lager.     Remember him on the morecombe and wise show. They used to insult his singing and send him up something rotten....took it like a pro (not like some divas today). Life not wasted if you make people happy and leave fond memories. RIP Des

    I remember Ernie Wise saying that they were really good friends with Des and that just before Eric died Des visited Eric in hospital. Des said to Eric that he was doing a concert later and that he was going to get the audience to say a prayer for him. Eric replied I don't think six or seven people will make that much difference.
