Interesting too that her husband, his stepfather, is a Swiss banker, vice chair of black rock, now that’s serious money. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackRock
I think that puts a different view on things. Of he's not up to the task, the cut and thrust of that world will tear him a new one. I suppose hell be involved with did like that now but be taking advisement from people - mam probably, which can be good for us either way. It all boils down to who else is involved in the consortium and who they bring in to run behind the scenes
In all honesty mate, this is what I know. I initially got absolutely nothing from the SOF although I do know a couple of journalists, one I'd say is a friend. The following is paraphrasing what she told me this week, once things started to leak. This is massive for us, these people are serious and have a huge contact book. They're well known in Monaco, Russia, Switzerland, Belgium, etc. They're the kind of people who'll attract huge attention and I'm sure we'll see an immediate boost. I dont think it's actually dawned on people just how big this is. If it wasn't for the FPP interest people would be looking at this much differently imo. That's what I do know but here's a very slightly informed guess. People like these find ways around 'planning permission' so tend to rub some people up the wrong way. It's my guess that spending limits will be circumvented by using the loan system, etc. This is going to get really interesting once the full details are known
I would imagine to keep our form up. Slip up and he's gone, keep getting 2+ points per game and he'll still be here
Wouldn't say I was underwhelmed with the news yesterday but probably trying to work out what it all meant but with you've putting it that way @Smug in Boots, the excitement levels are starting to rise. I suppose I'll get fully on board once the details are announced
If you had to take a stab at the current FPP position (from an FPP perspective) what would it be Smug?
This is what I honestly think mate, based on a little good info, but nothing more than a winky face when I asked a direct question. Fuhrman is currently still involved. I said, months ago, that he had accepted the notion of Sartori being more involved. If that's the case then it would mean there's a massive amount of money behind the club.
They will possibly pay off McGeady, send Grigg and O'Brien out on loan helping with their wages, maybe find a way of getting Power and Dobson out , thus creating room in the overall wages budget.
This flipping wages limit, is it just a temporary covid thing so clubs survive or is it a long term plan?
I loved Friday the 13th. What a great day it was, always having Not606 screen open on my work laptop and keeping as up to date as I can on the 'Takeover Patter' then BOOM late yesterday afternoon it when ballistic. My only question regarding this take-over is; why haven't SAFC commented on this? Is the reason that this was leaked to the Guardian, I'm sure they'll have to comment either way over the weekend. Here's to 3pts today and we can carry on celebrating
They definitely aren't coming to sit around. Everyone will know they'll have to shape up or ship out. Any bad influences will be out before they can do a Dominic Cummings and pack their gear in a box.
