I'd agree about mini skirts not being short enough, but only on who's wearing them. For Salma or Liz Hurley or Margot Robbie, yes. For Anne Widdecombe however.......

You're a lucky man to be stranded there.

He asked us to go there and work with him which we sadly declined, we love the area.

The only problem was that it would usually mean a flight to Zurich, then an onward flight to get back for games.

Shame, he's a wonderful man and the most intelligent person I've ever met.

Thanks for keeping us sane through some trying times Riv. Really appreciate the updates throughout the years and personally I'm a fan of the gentle sniping too ha.

Same for Prehab, Magnus etc, I don't really know why you bother given the ****e that gets flung your way, but you've all been really reassuring and consistent in a time of uncertainty that really needed the hope you've helped provide. Round's on me for any of you if we ever cross paths irl.

Have you noticed the entire world has been much worse in every regard since the beautiful summer o' fashion of short-cut hot-pants with underbum a few years back?

May this be the turning point.

Not taking my wife to another away match. Took her to Burnley before we were married (over 40 years ago) but couldn't understand why I was having "banter" with a Burnley fan stood in front of us, so took aim with get right foot. Fortunately she missed and nearly fell on her arse, which resulted in all of us having a good laugh (except her of course, which she still cannot understand when I still bring it up now)

I was kidding on Mr Smug. Of course it's all hints, something to go on. I was being fictitious in my reply.

Over the moon with the news today, let's see how it pans out over the next few weeks.

Thanks for all the ITK's for keeping us informed and ignoring the multitude of snipers, bed wetters and underwhelmed...

Be a bit hard considering its over 49000 and we've never had that in the SoL, Hull and Cardiff both had above 50k back in the 3rd North/South format as well

Hopefully the start of something really good. With any luck we won't beat our longest stint outside the top flight of 6 years :1980_boogie_down:

Don’t be daft man. Give it a year and you’ll see him in Jacky Whites getting his saveloy dip and walking back over the bridge to the SOL.

it is still amazing that people are asking questions about this...it has been all but 'fat lady singing' today, new shareholders/owners are coming in, there is a decent football background, there is money for the future...the lads have done their absolute best to try to give us whatever snippets of info they were allowed to post, they may or may not know more but we all know they will post what they can.

i do not need to know the inside of a fart to be pleased at the outcome (so far) and the news could/should get even better so why not just be a little more patient and see what happens eh?...if the questions could be answered truthfully i am sure they would be but the lads have not tried to pretend they know it all.

also, no matter how many times a manager is asked about how the talk of a takeover is affecting him/the team/results he will always give the same 'nowt to do with me' answer but we all know it is a massive thing for ANY business that can affect everyone from board level to the tea lady/gent...all i hope now is that this is the start and just for a change, we return to being a well run club 'in with a shout'...all else will be a nice bonus.

If Donald and Methven are still involved I would imagine that Madrox still exists who hold the loan (may be wrong there, just speculating). It's possible that the only reason they are still involved is because FFP still think it's a viable chance of a future return (again I've nee idea)
