I think most people are saying two more investors, I think you are hinting at more of a football side structure

Let's hope they invest heavily in the academy.

Aye that's been my reading of it. I'm actually hoping it is more the structure side tbh. Sartori and this young lad have plenty money between them, and no doubt the contacts to get more if they have to (the lad can phone his mam if nowt else). All we need is good people to run the club, a proper CEO, DOF and eventually manager and I'll be buzzing, a lot more than if there's just more investors on the scene. Plus too many investors can be an issue in terms of getting a vision agreed.

Realistically its got to be structural. I don't they'll want Rodwell running it, but equally sartori isn't the type to be hands on (and no doubt wants to keep doing politics) and I seriously doubt this lad is going to move here and do the day to day stuff. I reckon it'll just be them but with good people lined up for key positions, hopefully also including the academy

This is the bit that excites me and the most important factor. Let’s get the club right from top to bottom and be proud of it again.
Thanks to all the lads who’ve been able to provide info on this. It’s honestly been very important to keep a lot of our spirits up through some difficult times.

When Sd took over it was a great feeling queuing in the ticket office and listening to stories of people who had been away from the club for 30 years, listening to people from Germany that were new fans, listening to people that travelled from New Zealand just for the game and just sensing the general positivity around the club. That was a false dawn so here is hoping that this is different and we have the owners and structure to be a force again. God I can't wait to get back to full stadiums!

Sounds great. My hope is that football people will be brought in. It’s all good having the money but without football brains it’s worthless. Should we expect anymore investors or just more with regards to the structure and people coming on board in various roles within the business structure?

No they won't Smug, but I'm sure we've all come across this type of person for years. They used to be easy to deal with 'you'll all know what I mean'. But it's different now, and you have to either put the effort into t'internet 'discussions' or ignore it. You've got my upmost respect for following the former. I'm not the best with words sometimes so I ignore more than discuss. I'll always have my beliefs, but t'internet isn't my best 'medium' for relaying them. You can't take the lad out of Pennywell

So, takeover, appoint CEO or chairman whatever, and a DOF which gives Parkinson a bit of breathing space to do his job and prove if he is the right man, he certainly isn’t for the Championship mind. That also means the DOF has time to put his mark on things and assess what is required to take the club forward. I would assume that if by January, Parkinson is falling short then the DOF will know enough people to bring the right one in and not just the cheapest option out there, which has been our MO since Moyes.

I appreciate that people think I always have to have the last word, or whatever, but I really take offence at these cowardly 'wake up, nothing's happening, you're all gullible' w**kers who vanish as they've all done tonight. They come on here to demoralise people and keep it up as long as they can. But where are these clowns now when the tables have turned, absolute cowards who are just scum in my opinion.
