Had a manic day and just catching up now, so the gist of what I've gathered, if correct, is :- French billionaire coming and taking 60% Sartori keeps his 20% Donald 15% Methven 5% The French bloke could have someone else with him French bloke is part of a consortium Is that the gist? I'm a bit confused by the consortium bit or having someone else with him, would they be taking part of the 60% or the others diluting further? I'm cautiously optimistic but still need to see their plans and still a bit concerned that the owners may not be hands on. Will they leave Rodwell running the show? What will change from today if the 3 stooges still involved? I'm happy Donald has less of a say, really happy for the posters who have been vindicated that something was happening, just want to see it over the line now.
As far as I can tell - the only place reporting 60% for KLD and 20% for Sartori, is rocker report. Everywhere else is just saying between them (and their consortium) they have 80%.
That's not arrogant at all, it's a belief and without those we're all ****ed. This year has stretched me to the limit, and I'm sure, like all of us our commitments have been spread very thinly. I've struggled with a few things personally, but what keeps me going is 'something to look forward to'. It might be a cheeky takeaway or an extra drink, BUT a big one has been seeing my club showing some balls and clawing it's way out of the ***t. Tonight has put a big smile on my face and that's priceless! FTM - KTF
Well said smug, you and @Prehab26 have been consistent in all of this and have kept many people going, I will be raising a glass to you tonight, I already have 3 times actually. Light at the end of the tunnel eventually.
Put it this way mate. If this was NUFC the people pulling the deal to pieces would be saying the Mags always land on their feet ... ... 'taken over by 'old money' and billionaires well used to the running of a football club'. They'd be claiming Newcastle were on the verge of a fantastic new era and leaving Sunderland behind. Absolute ****ers is how I'd describe them
Let's get it right...at 60% the new person/people will be making the final decisions. They will be bringing a professional football structure with them and have a track record of success.
I cannot wait to find out more detail about who the other two are. You heard any whispers?obvs dont expect you to name names
This has been a dark time for our football club plus a dark time with this pandemic, but there is light at the end of the tunnel on both accounts. My thanks to @Smug in Boots @Magnus @Prehab26 @Wheatsheaf you have passed on info to people like me and others in great faith. The abuse you have all taken has been unnecessary and unacceptable, l will raise a glass or two in your honour tonight
Don't focus on that number. Not sure where it's come from. There are other people but lots of work behind the scenes to get the structure right. People who doubted this entire process will lean on the '2' number if it's different. It's probably that it will be too.
This is what the miserable knackers, like Kittens, can't understand mate. Some of us are clinging on through personal/business/football circumstances and need something to get us through. What we don't need, from people who may be in a better financial situation, is relentless negativity about our club. Telling us that there are no negotiations, no chance of a deal and no hope is the last thing we need. I, and others, have tried to give everyone hope and inject a bit of humour. The vicious bile we've received, because of that, is frankly pathetic. But will these people even think, for a second, about apologising ... ... will they f**k
Let me add my thanks to all who have provided info over the last few months. I am having a glass of Filey Bay, Yorkshire’s own single malt whisky. And very pleasant it is too.
Yes I do. Big changes and it's needed. I won't be saying on here though. It would effect some of my friends significantly.
