We've had a billionaire owner before, lets hope this time, this consortium spends its money wisely and puts more thought into the people they bring in to make these decisions. The future cold be really good, if the club make some smart appointments.

I always thought we would have been relatively successful with Short as owner had Quinn stayed. Or if he was adequately replaced with a football man.

So for this deal to happen fpp have to sign it off, that means either they have been paid back or are happy with the people involved and want to keep their money in the club. I will say the way Keith from sky reported it they know there are more people involved in this consortium yet they can’t or won’t name the other people. There are a few people on here I am delighted for with this news. So I’ll be joining you all in a beer or two tonight.
