    if Sky revenue falls the Premier gets paid less, the clubs reduce players wages - - common sense returns.

    I know - I'm just daydreaming.

    IF it happens, and it's a *HUGE* if, since this isn't legally binding in the UK Courts, just advice, it could mean it would devalue the rights in the UK, but the rest of the world would remain roughly the same. The UK is obviously the greatest source of income.

    The rights aren't up for re-negotiation until 2013 so clubs are safe there. Unfortunately it means there could (theoretically) be a catastrophic de-valueing of the UK rights, resulting in reduced income, and it could really mess up a whole host of clubs paying big money to big stars.

    Dont think it would effect our business as we have a strick wage structure so if revenue is less and wages could not be too high. We sailing and citeh are sinking (theoretically)

    I read yesterday that actually what Sky get from UK subscriptions is a pittance in comparison to globally so it won't affect them really (less than 10%).
