Beverley Community Hospital, Community Ward is gearing up to become a CoVid Ward. No new patients, current patients looking to be discharged as soon as it’s possible & safe to do so.
I imagine it’s because they were mostly kept at home in the first wave but now they’re all in schools together and will have a much lower level of immunity compared to other age groups that will have had higher levels of exposure. Touch wood, we are so lucky to still not have had a case in our school! Hope we get to Christmas and I’m able to say the same.
