Morning Leeds Fans, After keeping a clean sheet on Saturday, and Lees signing an extension to keep him at ER until 2015, do we need to strengthen our side further, or should we wait until the transfer window in January. What dead weight do we have, who should we try to get rid of, who can we sell on, remember sheff u, paid 500k for Collins? Song of the day is your choice today !!!
My Choice hmmmm... I started up the Song Of THe Day depending on what mood I was in I remember I did Beyonce - Single Ladies on 12th August 2010 cos it was the day after I split with my ex ahhh fun times

Morning Pags, morning everyone else. I think OB's time is definitely up. If Lees is going to take one CB spot & Kisnorbo is still good enough for the other, we still have O'Dea & Bromby to fight for a starting spot or the place on the bench. OB is simply surplus to requirements. On Paynter & Somma, we have for the next few months McCormack, Keogh, Becchio, & Forsell + wingers. Somma won't play again this season, & Paynter needs game time. He won't get that in the foreseeable future. I think, therefore, he needs to go out on loan. SG can then take a view as to wether to let him go or decide that he does have a future at ER. As to Parker, he just needs game time to see if he can go a few games without getting another injury. Another one to go out on loan. I would also send Bruce out on loan to see what sort of future he has. We have enough CBs for him to not even be able to get a place on the bench. I'd also look to send our next crop of kids who are pushing for places on the bench or starting spots (Charlie Taylor, the Turner twins, Dominic Poleon). It worked for Lees. This has to be the way to bring players from youth team up to the next level.
Here's my song Elland.......we/i gotter get out of this place. Animals. Not having a good day up to press.
Awwwww poor Doha...I'll cheer you up by telling you about the time i meet a young lady called Kate...
I wouldnt sell Sam or Somma. Think they both have a part to play for us yet. Wouldnt say Kissa is a starter anymore sadly. Think its O'Dea's & Lees spots to loose with Kissa supplying the back up along with Bromby for now. Andy O'Brien & Alex Bruce, I couldnt care less if I ever saw them in a leeds shirt again. In fact, I would as I dont want to see them in a leeds kit again Morning all BTW
Fundamentally disagree YNBK. They're slowly starting to knock on the door for at least a squad place or a place on the bench. Remember Charlie Taylor & one or other Turner has already played for us. Clearly we're no longer in the market for having to play kids as part of a fire fight that saw too many good ones go too soon. But if they're good enough to be pushing for a squad place, they're certainly good enough to go to league 2 clubs, as Lees did. Didn't do him any harm. If I've got the ages wrong & they're actually under 17, then yes they should stay at ours until they're old enough to be away from home for a while... either that or send them to a local club to get regular game time.
Boggers they are only knocking on the door cos we where desperate. Im not being funny but all the young kids you have mentioned are not gonna be the standard that Lees and White are! Ive watched them all regularly! It would risk too injury shoving 17 year olds in that league
Fair enough YNBK. I bow to superiour knowledge on that one. That said, I think there are 1 or 2 17 year olds playing regularly in L2. So its not entirely out of the question. But if they're a year or two from really pushing to be part of the first team squad, then maybe next season is the season to loan them out a bit to help their development.
