I saw Albert King at the Hammersmith Odeon in the early 80's, John Lee Hooker and Buddy Guy were on the same bill - he was a physically huge man and a great talent, he played a few tracks from a home made cigar box guitar, he got a great sound from it.
'Twas. Spent a fortune on the jukebox in Brown's Cafe when I was working on the dodgem track, summer '64. Happy days. Got **** from my mother when she turned up with dad unannounced one day & spotted me with a cig hanging out of my mouth.
