So are we thinking the other 2 backers/investors are the brains and footy knowledge like @Prehab26 and @Magnus have hinted about in the past?
Football families with cash and connections and from what we hear many changes to come , then this exactly what we need .. keeping cm and sd on board isn't a bad thing either it gives continuity from the non playing side .. I don't agree with the personal **** he got ..the new guys can focus on getting the playing side sorted now.
thank you to your good self, and the other lads who have kept us up to date. if you are ever in Hartlepool shout up and there'll be a single malt or 6 coming your way.
Aye Kyril: ok then down to business for the day Juan: yep, just got a fax from Barcelona offering us Messi on loan Donald: I think that Maguire is sti.... Kyril: thanks Stewie. Nip out and get us a cup of tea and a pink slice from Joan’s, there’s a good lad.
It's too early to be underwhelmed I suppose, but I can understand why some are . Firstly, it's not FPP. I think anyone else would be a bit of a let down compared to having massively wealthy, world renowned businessmen. Donald and Methven still around is a minor negative (not arsed about it personally but I know people would prefer a full break). I don't trust sartori, very quickly went from wanting to own a club to wanting to be president of Uruguay, I think he's a potential loose cannon and he's done nothing positive thus far, I'd rather he was out as well. The other lad is a kid, who doesn't seem to have ran a company before so, other than having money (in a trust fund, God knows how much he can actually access) he sounds like a risk. Some billionaires are very bad at running football clubs and I just hope we don't end up spending loads without a good plan and ending up in debt again. To balance that, it is definitely a positive that Donald and Methven will be virtually silenced, just hoping to get some money down the line. The lad obviously has a very rich family, if they get involved it could be very positive (albeit we heard that with Sartori so it isn't a given) The big one is who runs the club day to day. If its Jim Rodwell I'll be pissed off. If they get (possibly pie in the sky) a Brian Marwood type in then that's a huge sign of ambition and would have me very confident that the money would be spent well. Equally a strong managerial appointment would be a great sign. So I'm not too buzzing just yet but hopefully will be when more information comes out. Sorry for the long post, just seen a few wondering why people wouldn't be completely delighted so thought I'd list the few worries I've got
Well this has cheered up a dreary day SD and CM keeping shares doesnt bother me in the slightest, I don't for one minute believe they will have any say or input in anything. With the connections these people have and the experience of their family in running footy clubs that are regularly near the top of French football and play in Europe, I cant see them letting JR run the show. I have to believe they will put in place some of the best people money can get to make to run the club.
You missed out Peter Sutcliffe deed and Dominic Cummings ****ing off. Who said Friday 13th was unlucky.
Some people may remember my references to my friend Mr Tonna during the FPP saga. He's an Italian billionaire who has houses in Monaco, West Wales and Lugano. His best mate is Warren Buffet, to give an idea of where he ranks, and he knows this family, how well I don't know. But I'm sure he'll continue to be a help with interesting stuff. He was the one who initially told me it was 'office gossip' that FPP had bought SAFC. Shame about that but it's more than possible they'll have a continued interest.
