Millwall away from a few years ago, was supposed to be a stag weekend, broke my leg three days before. Wor lass pushed me all over London in that wheelchair. Salt of the earth.
that’s me right in the middle of the flag ! Great trip to Feyenoord earlier this year just before the world went mad!!
Feyenoord in the wheatsheaf, two seasons ago. BTW, was looking at the names on the flag you are holding. Is that Jarvy from seaton deleval?
Aye mate I know him quite well, going back to the days when I lived in Stanley years ago. Probably know you as well.
I’m sure I’ll know you mate. I travelled a few times on the Delaval/ Stanley buses leaving the central station at midnight!! It was always interesting!
Aye mate some fine memories, I sometimes bump into Jarvy in the Wheatsheaf, usually go there for a couple then down to Jacksons gentleman's club. Can't wait till all this Covid is done with, we can all try and have a meet-up and a mega pre- match sesh.
When he gets over we normally meet up in the Howard’s arms. We went over to Rotterdam in January and it feels like a totally different world now! Yep it’ll great to meet up though.
Aye mate agreed, I was at Blackpool the weekend all the football got stopped, had a mega lash up and went to watch Flyde play aldershot. Still a decent weekend, but no way near as good as what it would have been had the match been on. I'll text Jarvy over next few days, sure I've got his number on my phone.
but all you reme lads are looking gruesome, its like asking which rat is the pretty one in a thousand....... now us paras wot is ansome ave you lads beat ands down
When I was with AMF(L) in the mid 80s, 3 Para were our infantry battalion. One of their lads was called Ratty funnily enough because he looked like one. And I did my corporals course with 10 Airborne. All the paras I met in Aldershot were **** ugly as well.
