Local Facebook pages, just One Hull Of A City and one Hull City site alone would get the word out to over 50,000.

Greece is offering huge tax breaks of up to 50% on a personal income to entice 'digital immigrants' as millions of people work from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

'Technology means we can now choose where we live and work,' the prime minister's chief economist Alex Patelis said on Wednesday.

'A worker from abroad who moves to Greece will be eligible for a 50% exemption on income earned here for seven years under the plan,' he said, adding that legislation will be brought to parliament by the end of the year.

Another 33,470 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours - the highest figure recorded since the pandemic began.

Yep @Chazz they had been doing one (year group) week in / one out, I think they're getting a few covid positive tests and that many classes are having to shield for 2 weeks, it makes sense as the numbers are increasing

1 week in Lockdown UK - completed

    Thoughts.

Not a fan of the masks. I kinda feel like they're giving some a false sense of security. "I've got my mask on, virus can't get me then, doesn't matter if we're 20 people in this crowded room"
Not a fan of getting tested for fever 5 times a day (everytime I enter a building at work and have been outside). I could say hello to the guard, walk outside, talk on the phone for 30 seconds, go back in, fever control time :emoticon-0176-smoke

It's good that you're taking it serious tho. But the "super power" of the mask.....not sure.

I thought i'd notice "the lockdown" more tho. I've only been somewhere other than my house or at work twice (grocery shopping), but there's been people all over town both times (on odd times, not after working hours).

If you were to pay 50% of what you should pay then you would be paying more than the locals.

Masks are to stop you infecting others when you are coughing in their vicinity not to protect yourself from others.

    Aware.
I'm just getting the feeling that people feel like they can't get the virus if they got the mask on.

This post kinda sums it up

    "
LET'S GO OUT TO EAT 2020
    1. Arrive at restaurant, fish your three month old single-use surgical mask out of car's filthy cupholder (still slightly sticky from this morning's 84oz diet Pepsi).
    2. Strap up with three month old single-use surgical mask.
    *MAGICAL ANTI-GERM BARRIER ENGAGED!!!*
    3. Proceed into restaurant, opening door with same handle grabbed by 200 people so far today.
    4. Hostess has immediate seating for your woke party of three. Walk past entire restaurant of unmasked people. It's ok, they're sitting.
    5. Sit down.
    *SEATED ANTI-GERM FORCEFIELD ENGAGED!!!*
    6. Safely within your anti-germ forcefield, remove mask. Browse menu while making relaxed inhales of the same recirculated AC air previously inside the lungs of the 200 people that also grabbed the door handle.
    7. Waitress drops off drinks bare handed.
7.1. The same hands she picks up glasses from other tables that other people have drank from.
    8. Grab drink with your bare hand. Sip leisurely, secure in knowing you're within your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness.
    9. Too many drinks. Need to pee. Put on your magical anti-germ barrier mask as you leave your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness.
    10. Walk past 40 unmasked restaurant patrons. Open bathroom with same door knob grabbed by 100 other people so far today.
    11. Return to table past same 40 unmasked restaurant patrons.
    12. Remove mask. Once again safe in your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness. Waitress takes your sweaty drink glass with her bare hand, refills, hands back to you. You accept with your bare hand. Grab some bread and eat it. Same hand. Yum Yum.
    13. Meal complete. Mask on. Walk past 40 unmasked patrons. Make full body contact with at least 4 people waiting at the hostess stand as you squeeze your way back to the door - no matter, they're all also wearing their magical anti-germ barriers.
    14. Grab exit handle, which you are now the 220th person of the day to touch. Eating out successful.
    15. Breathe a sigh of relief knowing that even after leaving the protection of your home and venturing out into the scary world of the public, you are essentially sterile thanks to your state approved methods of magical germ mitigation.

This lockdown seems to be being observed far less rigorously than the first. Where I Iive I can barely see the difference between this week and last.

Sounds like Hull has fast become the new Wuhan.

Sooooo,in theory,if the UK number today was because of the ‘ last hurrah’ before the latest so called lockdown we should start seeing reduced number in the next few days?

    Right...right guys? Right?

No mention of washing your hands after your pee there, so you add more germs to the door handle on your way out the toilet. <laugh>

Pfft, you just don't understand. Clearly coming out of the lock down in a higher tier than we were in when we entered it is a sign it worked. ...or something.
