Yep. It's Massa's job to hold Lewis (and others) back; Lewis locked up on that corner and caught Massa's tyre; that's it really.

It's interesting to hear these transmissions though, after the event.

 

Did anyone see JB's onboard lap? McLaren are blowing massively off-throttle, no wonder they struggled at Silverstone.

 

Isn't that illegal? I thought they limited the amount of blowing to 10%

 

That was only for Silverstone. They can do as much as they like as long as they use the same map for quali and the race.

 

You wanna check out that second link again matey, as I have posted elsewhere, breaking a tow is NOT BLOCKING. You are under no obligation to fllow in someones wake!

He was breaking the tow which was going to lead to the overtake, he made more than 1 move of direction and he broke the rules twice at Malaysia.

Stfu he was cheating and he got caught, so deal with it.

1 move against another driver to defend your position (tow included) HOW HARD IS THAT TO FOLLOW????
