If China dumps over a trillion dollars of US debt it would make it more difficult to issue more and interest rates would dramatically increase .
Desirable if China choose to dump it and raise US interest rates . .I don't think China are stupid enough to hand a foreign competitor their balls and a hammer.
They won't dump it, for starters what bonds would they put all the money into? Most other ones have negative yield.
China managed to kill 70, 000 Americans by selling them Fentanyl last year through the blacks market , the drug has destroyed major US cities and Ironically they even took out big George Floyd so even more destruction ensued. China is pretty much Corona free and they are all back to work , eating out in restaurants and carrying on as if nothing ever happened. Meanwhile the West is completely ****ed financially and we are still locked down with Sunak handing out money like it's going out of fashion. . They are playing a blinder on the World stage and if Beijing Biden gets in they will dominate for decades .
Their GDP is still something like 50% less than the Yanks and also the Chinks spend a smaller %age on defence. The Yanks would just take them out if need be.
Guaranteed mutual self destruction if they tried. Russia and China combined are no pushover. Hollywood and the NBA are already catering for the Chinese Market . Alphabet Facebook Amazon and all the other tech giants are banned from operating in China and would do anything to get a foothold over there. All sucking that CCP cock.
Last time I was in China they banned Arsenal games because Ozil said something unflattering about the treatment of his fellow Muslims over there . I think it was made clear to the EPL that it would be a good idea if he didn't play anymore. Didn't see Garry Lineker or any other mega woke sports personalities getting upset. They also changed the Star wars promotional poster so the black bloke is not front and centre. John Boyega and Disney just do as they're told when it comes to that lucrative Chinese Market and abandon their principles.
