I don’t usually have them myself but I was trying out my new base gravy. Lots of other curry’s have complex tastes and heat going on so a mild Korma was a perfect testing dish.

This was very nice but too sweet for my palate really. Lot of customers here will like it as it’s well not too Indian if you get what I mean.

Yeah, can't remember the recipe but it was quite spicy and almonds were a big part of the sauce other than coconut.

It's certainly the easiest one to make in my book, butter ghee , ginger garlic paste, coconut milk powder, almond powder, mix powder and 1/2 teaspoon of haldi. the rest is just base gravy fried to caramelise.

Spent five days in St Emillion in the summer.

Was a bit awkward as it was masked up time in France but did some tasting in one of the numerous vineyard outlet shops.

Bought 3 bottles, on budget, one ,mid range, one grand cru.

The budget was six euros and the grand cru 30 euros.

Both were excellent but the expensive one stand out nice.

The budget would probably be a tenner over here?

Got some 2.19 euro Malbec from a Lidl in Biarritz , and some 2.89 euro Cotes du Rhone, and they both piss over the £5 a bottle wine you get in a super market here.

@brb, really you probably need to spend £8 in one of our shops, but if you spend a tenner you'll be getting a good bottle of wine, eight euros worth in France.
