Good Morning. It's Wednesday 11th November, and here re the latest headlines from Elland Road Must win game for Leeds U21's Leeds United’s U21's travel to face Blackpool this evening in group H of the EFL Trophy, with the Whites languishing in last place. Although bottom, a win may well be enough to Mark Jackson’s outfit into the knockout stages alongside group winners Accrington Stanley with three points. Leeds are expected to name a strong line up with Sam Greenwood available again after injury, partnering Joe Gelhardt up front; however Charlie Cresswell, Nohan Kenneh and Cody Drameh are all on England International duty. Blackpool will head into the clash as heavy favourites and must avoid defeat to earn qualification as runners up. Blackpool have midfielder Ethan Robson back from suspension whilst Dan Ballard will miss out as the defender is now away on international duty with Northern Ireland. Oliver Sarkic could return from injury to face his former side. please log in to view this image Leeds fans have plenty to say on Garry Monk exit Former Swansea, Leeds, Middlesbrough, and Birmingham Manager Garry Monk has been given his marching orders from Sheffield Wednesday much to the amusement of Leeds fans on social media. The Wendies have won just three out of their opening 11 games finding themselves deep in the mire. To make matters worse they were given a twelve point deduction for FFP misdemeanours involving the sale of their ground. This penalty was halved last week after an appeal. Even without the six point penalty, the Wendies would find themselves in tittering on the edge of the Championship drop zone. How far could Monk have taken Leeds? Couldn't give a **** about monk. Good morning all, hate international breaks, especially for a friendly
I do. Hate anyone that leaves Leeds in dodgy circumstances - and they don't come any dodgier than him! Now he's raked in yet another payoff, plus he can have a long rest before getting a job in time for the summer transfer window, where he & his agent mate can clean up again.
Wonder how the court case is going or not going. steve Gibson accused Monk and Agent mate of scamming and fleecing the club. It was brought up at Birmingham and Radz mentioned he was unhappy with Monk at Leeds. The other strange thing is how fast Monks assistants and coaches like Pep Clotet and then James Beattie leave him?
With you on international breaks. At least I can settle in with some beer for the masters over four days.
Afternoon all Monk leaving was one of the the best things to ever happen to us. I don’t care where he is, who he manages or what he does now to be honest with you.
To be fair I had forgot about all those accusations Bottom line is he hasn't been good enough anywhere he has gone. Thanks for Pablo though
Morning all Would normally agree with you Bucks but think this break is just what we needed after a couple of spankings and a chance to get a few key players fit again. Also gives Marcos a chance to clear his head and look forward to the footie again. Palace was the first game this season I hated because of the VAR farce, freak goal and sense of injustice. Even Leicester I managed to just take on the chin like a big boy because they were good.
Gary Monk Bank Account topped up by Swansea, Leeds Utd, Midelsboro, Birmingham and Sheff Wed. He has amassed over £10m in payouts due to being sacked early from every job. He never needs to work again and many would say he hasnt worked since he was captain of Swansea. Wonder how much his cut has been from the transfers he arranged through his agent. i could have done better than Monk yet he has a full bank account, Bucks could have even done better, even WJ could have been more successful. Not sure about Chesh or Shacks and too many bad memories of DoL so couldnt have Eire involved. But it makes you wonder with some managers how the hell they keep getting new gigs?
Afternoon all. Saw something earlier about Llorente's injury being more serious than thought. Anyone heard anything on this ?
He’s been added to the “long term” injury list which apparently means over 30 days, he joins Fowshaw and Berardi
You missed me out i could have taken Wednesday down on my own.Monk had a load of staff to help demoralise the players.
