I’m simply explaining why he was asked to stand down.

you missed the entire point and used the wrong term 3 times.

he made 4 points deemed to be offensive .

not by me but by other people .

So you don't think it is racist either?
So you don't think he should have resigned? If you do think he should resign, can you explain why? Saying I should look at google gives me the impression that you are not sure of the issue.

What is the wrong term? Can you give me the post numbers when I used it?

You’re deliberately miss reading what I’ve written.

I’ve pointed out what the article said and reasons why he was asked to step down.

    One example ...

he never said that term . It’s pretty clear he never said that .

    he said coloured.

I understand now. Neither you nor me deem that he said anything offensive.
This is why I don't think he should have resigned.
You seem to be saying that because other people think it is offensive, despite YOU not thinking it is offensive, you still think he should resign. That is absolute madness.

If people want to be offended they will be.
I can say that I am offended by the term "white people". Does that mean every time somebody uses the term "white people" they should resign? Even though nobody has a logical reason why they are offended by it.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/30999175/warning-why-using-the-term-coloured-is-offensive

"Historically, the word is associated with segregation, especially in the US, where black people where kept separate from white people - on public transport, or at drinking fountains which were described as "coloured-only" for example."

I didnt see that Sainsbury's top management resigned when they introduced black only areas.

Do you approve of black only areas?

    This reeks of hypocrisy.

I said I have no sympathy for him ...

And just because I don’t find it offensive , I’m not black, gay or a woman, doesn’t mean he not offended some **** and working for some organisation like the FA , he should have been more clever about how he framed his answers .

that’s all my point was about , pointing out why he was sacked ...

How , who , what and when people get offended is not my concern.

Scotland has an extremely embarrassing history with black slavery.

Doesn't get mentioned much, if at all to be honest.

    It's been "whitewashed".

The had a campaign for a while to rename many of the Glasgow streets due to them being named after “slavers” etc

merchant city was built by tobacco etc money (using slaves etc) but it’s part of the history of Glasgow ... don’t “whitewash” it .

They shouldn’t really change the names or remove statues ... doesn’t really achieve anything .

I think we should dig up Watling Street, Ermine Street and the rest of the Roman Roads the white slaves built. Oh, and Bath has to be demolished totally.
