There's no hoax about it. There were Nazis, white supremacists, neo-confederates and anti-Semites at that rally.
Saying that there were good people on both sides, but then trying to eliminate one side entirely makes absolutely no sense.
Who were the good people left on the Nazi side? The pro-slavery guys or the anti-Jews, perhaps?

I know that he tried to exempt people on the Nazi side and specifically referred to it. Read it and try again.

He did. The rally was organised by Nazis and white supremacists, including Stormfront, the Klan and the National Socialist Movement.
There were a ton of far-right groups there and they were all ****ing awful.
If he wasn't talking about those groups, then who did he mean? That's all it was.

Gavin McInnes of the Proud Boys didn't go because of the abundance of Nazis there.
